I've done some pretty cool work at UW.
In my classes, this work included presentations, posters, and papers. A couple I am most proud of are here in my artifacts.

For my Environmental Planning and Permitting class final, I was tasked with reading and summarizing an Environmental Impact Statement. Environmental Impact Statements are critical pieces of environmental documentation in the United States, and this project offered me the opportunity to delve into one thoroughly.

This presentation was After spending ten weeks learning about the education systems in different countries, my project group elected to create a final presentation on how African American and African immigrant students are treated in the United States. This presentation offered good public speaking, teamwork, and equity-focused work experience. Learning about how African immigrant and African American students experience Seattle's public school system was really fascinating and made me more committed to improving transparency and communication for all groups of people.

As part of my internship at Treehouse, I was asked to create a poster describing the work I did. One of the main projects I had was editing and formatting the outreach and informational documents Treehouse gives to foster parents, social workers, and community members. Several of these documents had spelling and grammar errors, as well as factual inaccuracies and very text-heavy designs. I was able to make syntax changes and incorporate more images to improve readability.
